Looking Back On Earth Day 2019!

How was your Earth Day? What did you to celebrate? We asked around and found out that all around the globe people found creative and unique ways to give to the environment. So, we are sharing them with you. Feel free to get inspired and add these things for your celebration next year or throughout the year!

The Youth Science Institute of Los Gatos California hosted their second annual Earth Day celebration outside at San Jose’s Alum Rock Park. In the middle of mother nature, they created a variety of events that allowed you to learn about gardening, native plants and local pollinators.

Â

In Missouri, Mother Earth Coffee helped all their patrons to take part in Earth Day. They put on a patio party and gave everyone short pine seedlings and burlap bags to use in their home gardens. The party had yard games, cookie decorating, and to encourage re-use they offered FREE coffee on Earth Day and for the rest of the month of April to everyone who purchased a Mother Earth Keep Cup.

Â

In Austin, although Earth Day got off on a delay when it came, it went off with a BANG! Again, the annual festival was held at Huston-Tillotson University. Not only were there crafts, music, special readings, there were amazing opportunities to visit the rain forest, take butterfly walks, and recycle bicycles for kids and check out electric bikes!
